Which browsers are incompatible with our Wifi?
When using our WiFi network, some browsers may experience compatibility problems. This is generally due to specific functionalities of these browsers that interfere with the connection mechanisms of our network. Here is a list of browsers that can cause problems:
Browsers such as Opera or Brave, when using a built-in VPN, can mask the information needed to authenticate your device on the network. These browsers also include advanced security and encryption features that can block captive portals (WiFi connection pages). This can make it impossible to connect.
This security-focused browser incorporates a VPN and other privacy protection tools, which may interfere with the normal operation of our WiFi network, particularly for access to the login portal.
Outdated browsers may not be compatible with modern web standards, which may cause display or connection problems.
For the best experience on our WiFi network, we recommend using one of the following browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
- Microsoft Edge
- Safari (for Apple devices)
You should also make sure that your browser is up to date to avoid any problems caused by out-of-date versions.
