What is the difference between the mobile network and the WiFi network?
Osmozis is a provider of Wi-Fi connectivity at your location (for example, a campsite or a residence). Our role is to provide you with Internet access via this Wi-Fi network. However, we do not manage your mobile network (such as the 4G or 5G connection you use on your phone).
In other words, Osmozis provides you with an Internet connection through the Wi-Fi at your place of stay, but this has nothing to do with your mobile connection, which depends on your mobile operator (Orange, SFR, EE, Vodafone, O2, AT&T, etc.) and your phone’s network coverage.
So, Osmozis only provides the on-site Wi-Fi connection, while your mobile operator handles your mobile connection, whether for Internet, calls, or messages. These two networks are independent of each other.
